This unique service is different to the standard consultation services in that clients who visit us for surgeries come to ask for specific advice about particular aspects of their primary research.

For instance a PhD student will come to us to get advice on which techniques he should use for the collection of his primary research. Likewise an Undergraduate might come to us to ask about the best types of statistical programs to analyse his research data.

A common problem students have is generating a method that is suitable and compatible for statistical analysis. It is not uncommon for a student to have undertaken some primary research only to find later that it is not comprehensive enough or eligible for certain statistical analyses. We can solve this problem by organising a brainstorming consultation with a Primary Research Advisor and an expert in your field, giving expert advice right from the start, avoiding unnecessary complications and problems later on.
